About

My Approach to Therapy

I approach therapy and the therapeutic relationship with the understanding that we all possess inner wisdom.  Together, we explore your thoughts, feelings and beliefs in order to help cultivate your inner healer.

I incorporate various approaches such as Internal Family Systems, Psychodynamic theory and Compassionate Inquiry into our work.  I provide some education regarding safety and the central nervous system using  Polyvagal Theory. Utilizing these methods as well as other tools, clients learn to manage their mood, relationships, and symptoms of anxiety and depression, and trauma responses.

I have experience working with individuals experiencing various forms substance use and abuse, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociation, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and grief/loss.

Currently I offer sessions in-person or online using a HIPPA compliant platform.
